How to pay Parking fees in Nairobi County using the New System in Kenya

Nairobi City County eparking  started officially on (1 September 2014). the system is expected to cut revenue losses by 30 per cent, with the county projecting a net earning of Sh5 billion from parking fees this year.

The new mode of payment will reduce the time motorists previously spent in obtaining parking tickets manually. Equally, it will boost revenue collection for the County since it will help seal loopholes that the County experienced through the mode of manual collection.

Here are  steps you need to follow to pay your parking fee in Nairobi county.motorist can either use the following methods of payment

1. USSD dial *217#,
2. on the street Nairobi County Agent or Cooperative Bank,
3. Android mobile application “Nairobi City County” (available on Google play), and
4. Nairobi City County website: http://epayments.nairobi,go.ke   Once a transaction is complete, an SMS confirming the payment will be sent to the customer who can also print the receipt at will.

First time user

1. Dial *217#
2. Signup for an account
3. Top up with Mpesa and Airtel money.

Returning users(already registered)

1. Dial *217# and select parking
2. Enter vehicle registration number
3. Select parking duration> Daily
4. Select parking zone
5. Select vehicle type ( private, Lorry, canter, trailer, minibus,Bus)
6. Confirm parking fees and enter pin
7. You will receive SMS Confirmation

(for those who have android phones)
First time users

1. Install Nairobi city county app from Google play
2. Launch Nairobi city county App and Signup.
3. Top up with visa,MasterCard,ken switch,Mpesa,Airtel money,Orange money and Yucash.

Returning users(already registered)

1. Launch Nairobi city county app and sign in
2. Select daily parking
3. Select parking zone and vehicle type.
4. Enter vehicle registration number
5. Confirm parking fee details.
6. Enter your pin and complete details
7. You will Receive a confirmation SMS.

1. Visit http://epayments.nairobi,go.ke
2. Signup for an account name
3. Top up with Visa,MasterCard,Mpesa,Airtel money,orange money,or Yucash

Returning users:(already registered)

1. Visit: http://epayments.nairobi,go.ke and sign in
2. Select daily parking
3. Select parking zone and vehicle type
4. Enter vehicle registration number
5. Confirm parking fees details
6. Enter your pin and complete payment
7. You will receive confirmation sms. In addition, when you use the online option, you have the option of printing a ticket.
